As an author, speaker and homeschooling mother who recently recovered from Lupus, Kristi has been educated traveling coast to coast to medical training conferences during the pursuit of recovering her son from autism. She is also a certified health coach dedicated to helping others achieve health and wellness.
She's been involved in many aspects of ministry, campaigning and business as she has gleaned insights into how to balance a busy life while maintaining health. She is passionate about serving others by sharing the many insights she has learned from the various trials God has allowed in her life. Through these trials and education she has developed organizational skills, a complete daily planner system, and other helpful items for even the busiest of people to get the important tasks in life accomplished while achieving greater health. Her enthusiasm and motivation will inspire you to do more than you thought possible with your life and for those around you by seeking wisdom, strength and guidance from God. Kristi's focus in life is to encourage, equip and educate others to glorify God through their own life purpose.
Chloe' Chrysler
Chloe’ has overcome many challenges in life and assisted greatly with the recovery of her brother from Autism. As the oldest of five children, Chloe’ has be instrumental setting a positive focus for her siblings.
For quite a few years Chloe’ has done all of her family’s main meal preparations, cooking gluten free and casein free. As a sixteen year old, she mastered meal planning on a limited budget and created many adjustable recipes to accommodate various food allergy eliminations. This spurred her to write her first cookbook, Discover Another Piece to the Puzzle: Eating Gluten and Casein Free. This is an incredible cookbook packed with helpful information far exceeding recipes in a very easy to use format. Truly, if a young person can write and create it you can cook it! And your family will love the foods you prepare!
In addition to a love for cooking, Chloe’ is also a gifted writer and has published three scripture memory books for the Sermon on the Mount. She also closes many of our talks with chalk art, an amazing and beautiful artistic expression.
Her greatest contribution since graduating from home school high school, has been becoming our full time graphic artist and web design specialist. Chloe’ has had a love for art and integrating that love with today’s technology. We truly couldn’t do all we do without her contribution in this area. In addition to her work for the Kristi and Kids projects, she has just been accepted into two internship opportunities in the area of graphic arts and also web design. She’s looking forward to expanding her knowledge in these areas.
Heather Chrysler
Heather has been instrumental in helping our whole family during treatments and recoveries. From creative drama and voices encouraging compliance with many interventions that were necessary for her brother’s treatment of autism to assisting with schooling all three of her brothers, Heather’s enthusiasm has been contagious. Implementing siblings into treatment and recovery for special needs children is imperative and Heather is a testimonial for how to do it with love along the way.
Heather has a love for music and a gifting as well. Her voice is a gift from heaven and she’s been blessed to have musical talents with various instruments. Heather sings with a worship band and loves to lead worship in this way.
She’s also our incredibly creative brains to our team. During brainstorm sessions Heather is always quick to add tremendous value to everything we are working on. Heather is a junior this year and is working toward achieving a national merit scholarship. Heather’s a dedicated member of our family and a tremendous team player. She is gifted to making others feel good and welcome.
As our life is often harried and hectic with our schedule, Heather is the one who picks up all the pieces of need within the family during their speaking and book tour. She is a multi-task master and can handle food prep to road trip needs from start to finish. We never have to worry about a thing with Heather in charge! From cooking to cleaning she is always a cheerful giver to her family. Heather loves to work book tables and share her testimony with others encouraging siblings to be used by God within their own families.
Heather and her mom and sister also love to workout together and have ‘girl time’ while exercising or jogging. She is also always surprising her mom with unexpected acts of kindness which reflects her caring and giving heart. Heather looks forward to connecting with other kids through the Kid’s Konnection and inspiring her peers to be a team player in their own families and make a huge impact in life.
Richie Chrysler
Richie has recovered from severe autism. Hard to believe that just eight years ago we were told to institutionalize him. At that time he was not able to communicate, he had no self-help skills, he was extremely aggressive, violent and had up to ten major melt downs a day. During that season we simply ‘did autism’ daily. The doctors said there was no hope for him.
It is truly a praise to God for leading and guiding our steps for five intensive years where tons of prayer, intensive treatments and much therapy were a way of life. The investment the entire family made produced a son / sibling recovered with a great hope for a future!
Today Richie enjoys fishing, sports, computers and he is involved in church and an outreach through drama. Richie is our technical expert while we travel with our speaking and book tour taking care of sound, computer and related issues. And he does the same at home. We rely heavily on his expertise!
Richie went on his first mission trip December 2009 and this was a huge testimony to his recovery. No one knew he ever had autism and at the end of the trip he was voted as the most friendly person who everyone wanted on their team! Amazing! He’s since been on two more ministry trips and currently plays JV Football. He’s enjoying every aspect of life. Richie’s a social butterfly making friends everywhere he goes.
We are all grateful to experience his sweet and cheerful personality which loves to tell jokes and make us all laugh. No hope and being told he would ruin our lives was a lie – one we could not live with.
Richie is here to give you hope if you have a child on the autism spectrum. Never believe there is no hope. Through Christ all things are possible. Sometimes He just wants us to work hard and grow much through the process!!
John Chrysler
John has mastered Celiac Disease through a gluten free diet with some added enzymes. John’s story is unique in that he was gluten free inadvertently most of his life during his brother’s battle with autism. At the point when Richie was able to maintain his gluten free diet, the rest of the family returned to gluten. John began to have mild issues which grew increasingly more severe. Yet doctors could not identify a diagnosis. Then he contracted a virus and almost died. At this point while in children’s hospital seriously ill, he was finally diagnosed with celiac disease. Due to having untreated celiac disease this caused him to almost die from a virus. Part of our mission in this area is to bring awareness about Celiac disease and how 1 in 133 people have it but are not diagnosed for years and often suffer from other autoimmune diseases before finally having the root issue diagnosed.
Now John is doing fantastic on a gluten free diet. Since diagnosis and recovering from the grips of this disease he is now an active young man. He is our animal keeper and gardener and enjoys an array of activities. One great feat was mastering 1,000 jumps on the pogo stick without stopping! He also is an award winning student in math bees and in baseball! He’s an awesome athlete in many other sports as well.
John is extremely organized and has a true entrepreneurial spirit. He’s had a few businesses and continues in his research and development of new products. He utilizes his siblings as sales staff and does quite well with his endeavors! John has a huge heart and loves children. His dramatic and creative personality has been such a blessing to all who know him.
John helps with everything needed around the house and while we are traveling. He’s truly a joy to be around.
Kyle Chrysler
Kyle is the youngest member of the team who was gluten free and casein free by default. Although he suffers with no specifically diagnosed issues his performance is outstanding while on this diet. This is proof that these proteins can be difficult for many to utilize even without a major diagnosis. So having the whole family participate in a diet like this for the benefit of a brother or sister certainly cannot hurt and likely can help each person’s health.
Kyle is our helper in many areas of our ministry. He’s extremely self sufficient, just give him the list of weekly agenda items to get done and he’s on it daily. His self motivation seems to have developed after growing up with the necessity of routine while treating autism. So the by product of such a strict schedule for a time period can and does positively affect other family members.
Enjoying sports, reading and writing sweet notes to his mother are a few of Kyle’s past times. He’s also the most incredible hugger. Kyle loves other children and is responsible for watching kids when they visit our home, a job he takes very seriously. He’s a joy to be around.
