Kristi, most importantly, is a mother of five beautiful blessings. Of all the wonders in the world she is so grateful to have five of the most amazing as her children. The Kristi and Kids Foundation is because of her children, their amazing investment in the lives of each other, the amazing strength and love they have for her. Treating her like a princess, opening her door, having a smoothie breakfast to go ready for her on the run out the door and dinner or a surprise massage after a long day. As a single mother, Kristi always dreamed of a different outcome than what she and her children have experienced, yet giving thanks in all things she has seen how God does work all things together for good. She has also learned the benefit of investing in one's children.

Autism story. Having a special needs child in the midst of five can add incredible opportunities for personal growth. Kristi's focus in life seizing opportunities to overcome obstacles has helped her persevere through tremendous ordeals. Many who read her story of Autism Recovery cannot believe all they went through — then they learn that is one small part of the Kristi and Kids story.
The amazing discoveries she made during the plight of battling Autism and later Lupus have all worked together for good. Without Autism, she would still be inflicted with the pain and agony of living with Lupus. She also has had her other children recover from ADHD, Eczema, Asthma and Allergies. Chronic conditions have been eliminated from her family and many she coaches. She does also treat one son who suffers with Celiac Disease. This has remained in remission through a healthy gluten free diet, something her family came to know well during the treatment of her son with Autism.
Kristi's oldest daughter, Chloe', has written a few books herself. Chloe' learned to art of cooking from her mother and quickly became proficient in adjusting and adapting recipes to accommodate the various restrictions the family had to adhere to at times. Developing a love for culinary arts while being gifted with creativity, Chloe' wrote a cookbook at the age of fifteen. She has also written three scripture memory books and does chalk art often to close a talk that Kristi gives.
Each of Kristi's children has a special role to play in their Kristi and Kids Foundation. Chloe' is seventeen, Heather, fourteen, Richie is twelve, John is ten and Kyle is almost nine. The hearts of these children have wooed many as the family traveled across the nation speaking. Kristi and Kids unique opportunity of traveling and speaking together allows attendees to not only 'hear' the story but also 'meet' the real recovered children. Talk with them and realize that even when a diagnosis seems hopeless — never to give up! The message of love and hope for the Love of Family is a legacy they desire to leave those they meet.
Kristi shares from her heart real life experiences which makes her speaking genuine and relational. "It's been through God's grace and strength we've persevered!" she says and seeks to give Him all the glory.
